Golf

 I’ll probably get sick of posting these golf tournaments by the end of the season, but for now here’s the first one of the year: The Greeley Centennial and Satellite Rotary Clubs annual tournament and golf ball drop. It (mostly) went off without a hitch. ALLO had 11 sales to the various golfers that stopped by our tent on #12. After we finished up in Greeley, we got cleaned up and hustled to Brighton for the Spring Out of Homelessness gala. Home in time to watch the 4th quarter of the Nuggets win over Minnesota. 

GMM- Bulldog

 How can it be time already for the Greeley’s best, fun and free open networking event? This month we mobbed Bulldog Grub and Pub. It was a bust night, with the Greeley Blues Jam folks showing up to jam immediately after our event. I did get to try out the tambourine! Prizes weren’t as stellar this month, with Katie being in Mexico and all. So we handed out some beef jerky. Can’t bat 1000 all the time or there wouldn’t be room for improvement. See everyone at the GOAT in June on the patio.

Let’s Derby Pt. 2

 So much fun! The food was incredible, the company exquisite, and there was even a hand rolled cigar station! Good thing we remembered to watch the actual horse race. Thanks to everyone that came out and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon on the patio. 

Let’s Derby Pt. 1

 Who doesn’t love a Kentucky Derby party? My friend and business associate Tara from Greeley Lifestyle had been working on the Derby party for a few months. And last Saturday was finally the day! We sure do clean up well. Off to the Country Club to be all fancy and stuff. 

Hippo

 The main reason for SBX’s visit, other then to spend time with her dad, was to take a trip to Red Rocks to see her favorite band Hippo Campus. At 845 Monday morning, Sara(Beth) called to tell me the show was canceled due to the impending weather in Morrison. Disappointing would be an understatement. We tried to make the best of it, by having dinner a Luna’s. We had just gotten home, when sis excitedly exclaimed that the bad had left all their Red Rocks merch at a brewpub in RiNo. Sis called them right away and the bartended said she would hold a shirt and poster. We jumped in the car and headed south. Who knew Hippo Campus had such a following?? The place was packed and all the merch was gone (not sure why some people took 3 or 4 posters). We introduced ourselves to the bartended and BOOM! There was sister’s shirt and poster. Off to home. Bonus that I got to spend 2 uninterrupted hours with my daughter before the flight home in the morning.

 As soon as the PDX kids were dropped off, we got a fresh set of PDX kids! So great to have Sarabeth and Gabe in town for a few days as well. We basically repeated the drill, with lots of home cooked meals, games, trips to Sarabeth’s favorite places, and some great family time. Even made it to Buc-ees! What a madhouse. It was fun to have my BeReal partner-in-crime in the house! Thanks kids for making a fun weekend even more special.
