Easter 2022

We had the privilege of hosting Easter dinner this past week. I have to be honest, it was probably one of the worst ever? We just missed mom. And it just wasn’t the same knowing she was across town, alone, and in pain.

But Jen did a great job as always. Plenty of food for everyone, the Traeger prime rib roast turned out perfect, and we even were able to end the night with cigars and whiskey.

21

Happy 21st to this beautiful young woman! We are so grateful to have you in our sons life. Don’t forget to drink lots of water.

GMM-Weldwerks Edition

We hosted another successful Mob Mixer on Wednesday at the Weldwerks. For a change we didn’t have snow on a Wednesday. There was a great turnout for our event, probably 25-30 people? It’s fun to see about 10 new people attend each month. We also had a reporter for the Greeley Tribune and her photographer show up to do a story on us, which was published today. BRIX is next in May!

V.V.

The Violet Visionaries are still rocking the Northern Colorado area! This past Friday we had the privilege of attending the show at the Moxi. It was a fun night downtown, as we had quite a few friends join us for drinks at 477, pizza and then the show. Nice job as always, boys!

73

Dad would have turned 73 over the weekend. I miss him everyday. Here is a classic picture of dad in Times Square on his birthday during the Mancation in 2016.

NoCo TableTop

Here are a few pictures from last Fridays TableTop networking. Proud to play a small part in the continued success of this group over the past 4 years.

Senior Prom

How did this happen so quickly?? All of a sudden sis is attending her senior prom. The group had a fun night on Saturday, with the girls getting ready at our house, pictures in Sanborn Park, dinner at Gourmet Grub and finally the dance at UNC. Sis was just beautiful. Thankful our friends were also able to get a few pictures with her!

Memories

It’s always sad to run across this picture in my memories. This was taken 5 years ago in mom and dads driveway in Laramie as Wes was getting ready to leave after a quick visit with his kids and our family. Pretty ho-hum. I’m so thankful for this pictures existence. Several days later, dad started having significant difficulties walking. He was transported to Loveland a few days later and ultimately to Denver where he spent the final weeks of his life. And now, 5 years later, we are working through moms ALS diagnosis. Sadness all around.

Special

Somehow I managed to get all the kids in one room with grandma for a group picture. This picture makes my heart so happy and so sad at the same time. As a bonus, they all lined up in birth order.

Noah

Look who made a quick trip home from the PDX! We sure crammed a lot into the schedule over the weekend, including 2 BBQs, two trips to visit with grandma, a trivia night at the Tavern with his friends, and a morning with mom before she dropped him off at the airport. See you on Memorial Day for the big graduation party, son!

Oh Boy

Look what Ryan got himself into. It will be for a good cause, so what’s the harm, right? My goal is to raise $10,000, by asking 100 people to donate $100. Bonus if they would like to donate more. Maybe a corporate sponsor or two at say $1000? Maybe $2500? My first dance practice is at 2 today. Good luck Ryan!
