Greatest. Commerical. EVER.

Dance!

Last night was the big night Sarabeth had been looking forward to since I had told her about it several weeks ago. The City of Greeley Rec Department was sponsoring the second annual Daddy/Daughter Dance. I was excited to take my daughter out for a couple of hours, and she was excited to get all dressed up and go dancing with her dad!

It was a wonderful night out! I got a corsage for her, drove her to the dance, and spend the evening (well at least the hour we were there) twirling her around the dance floor. We were treated to some great music like "Butterfly Kisses" and "The Hookey-Pookey". There were also finger foods and even a formal picture taken of us. We would dance for a song or two, then walk across the hall for a water break. It was fun to see so many dads there with their daughters of all ages. Sarabeth had a great time and so did I. Cant wait for next years big dance!

Note in the third from last picture, the formal picture of us is on the table. Let me know if you would like a copy!

More Christmas

Okay, okay. Christmas was so much fun that I just have to post a few more pictures from that weekend. It was the final game of the season for the Broncos, more eating, book shopping with Christmas gift cards, and my new Broncos throw-back polo from my favorite brother and sister-in-law. The rolls are my all-time favorite breakfast item, buttery Carmel quick's.

Noah

Noah decided last summer that he would like his own computer, preferably a laptop. So he started saving his money by doing odd jobs around the house for us and grandpa and grandma Gonzales. He requested only money for his birthday and Christmas this year. Well, by December 25th, he had saved enough to order his computer. Uncle Wes really helped the process by recommending different laptops that fit Noah's price range. We ordered it on the 26th, and his long awaited computer arrived 10 days later. As always, the band of brothers was right there to share in Noah's excitement. Great job son!

So as a Frito-Lay rep, I have been in and out of grocery stores thousands of times in the last 10 years. But just once I would love to see something like this. Courtesy of our friends at www.peopleofwalmart.com.

Laramie

Here are the final photos from the long holiday weekend in Laramie. Wes and Kim were snowed in on the 26th, so we were able to spend an entire extra day with them! There was much laughter, story telling, coffee drinking, eating, and fellowship those 4 days. Maybe one of the best Christmases ever??

Dinner

Christmas dinner was amazing. We were treated to a Honey Baked Ham, turkey breast, sweet potatoes, rolls, salad, broccoli slaw, stuffing, beer, wine, pumpkin pie, cherry pie, home made sugar cookies, and lots more coffee. It was great. We are thankful grandma and grandpa upgraded their dining room table a few years ago so we are all able to sit at the same table!

Wes and Kim were very gracious in doing all the dishes after dinner while grandpa supervised. I had the very important job of family photographer and coffee drinker.

Christmas Day

After cleaning up the considerable mess in the living room, the rest of the day was spent enjoying our gifts, feeding everyone several times, drinking lots and lots of coffee, and spending time with our "Roth Family 10." As you can tell from the outside pictures, it was cold. VERY cold. And snowy. And all the roads in and out of town were closed.

More Christmas

Here are a few more pictures from Christmas morning. Gosh it was fun.

The new shirt I'm holding says "It's all fun and games until someone loses a nut."
