Laramie-Tuesday & Wednesday

The fun and craziness continued in Laramie during everyone's much needed vacation. Noah and I helped grandpa with some chores around the homestead. Some people went swimming at the rec center, others shopped the downtown and had coffee at Coal Creek.

Wes, Kim and Kaleb arrived Wedneday at lunch and things really got crazy! Kaleb LOVES his cousins, espically Sarabeth. After some yummy pizza for dinner, Ryan, Wes, Bob, Sarabeth, Nathanael, and Noah headed to the newly remodeled AA for some Wyoming basketball. While not quite the glory years of the 80's and early 90's, the game was pretty fun and the Pokes won. This is the view of is from the free seat Noah had! Get ready for Thansgiving!

Laramie-Monday

Finally a week off for everyone! Spent Sunday prepping for the adventure in Laramie this week. Noah drove us safely to grandma and grandpa's house and the celebration began! A nice homemade brunch, meatloaf for dinner, shopping in downtown and many laughs and stories. Excited for Wes, Kim and Kaleb to arrive on Wednesday!

Big D

So this happened this week and it was one of the highlights of the month. With the goofy schedules we each keep at our respective jobs, there hasn't been an opportunity to get together. Thursday night there was!!

Concerts

The fall band concerts for the middle school and high school were last night at the UCCC. Noah and Andrew each did a stellar job in their respective bands. You can see Andrew in his suit playing percussion and you can see the top of Noah's Tuba, but not Noah. They sure do know how to dress for success!

TBT-Mexico

On a morning in Greeley that started at -6 below, I really miss the warm sandy beaches of Mexico. There aren't too many pictures of the Wednesday we spent at the water park.  The highlight was the 45 minutes we were able to spend in the water with two beautiful dolphins. We played with them, fed them, and were pushed across the pool by them! While there were many pictures taken by the staff and even a video, unfortunately the price was pretty steep to purchase the packages, even by American standards. One picture for $40, or the entire package for $240. What?!? So sadly this is the only picture from the morning.  We spent the rest if the day floating in the lazy river, riding bikes from the bottom of the lazy river and back to the top, eating delicious food and enjoying all you can drink Carrona!

After returning to Dreams and cleaning up, we had another romantic dinner outside next to the ocean. We competed our day by taking in an authentic Mexican drum show and polishing off a few more adult beverages.

Kaleb!

It was so fun having Kaleb in town for a few days 2 weeks ago! He is such a fun, energetic, talkative 3 year old. And boy oh boy, does he love him some Sarabeth! In fact, all the cousins had fun with him. Jen was very gracious and took a half day off to hang out with him so Wes and I could head to Denver. Then the three of us enjoyed some Starbucks the next morning and introduced Kaleb to my good friend Dudley. Can't wait to see them all again at Thanksgiving!

Surprise!!

Pretty neat night last night as we celebrated Noah's 16th birthday with a suprise party! He spent the afternoon at his girlfriends house while Jennifer madly dashed around getting the house ready, food prepared and everything just perfect for her son. It was a Hawaiian theme party with Hawaiian pizza, fruit, and some sweet cupcakes. The guests were in position downstairs at 6:20 when Noah arrived. SUPRISE!! He was stunned. Ended up with 16 friends of his AND grandpa and grandma Jim and Janet. Amazing job Jen. Happy birthday once again son.
