Hybrid

Friends of Campingdad recently helped upgrade the Ford Excursion owned by Campingdad. According to reviews of this upgrade on the Dennis Miller website, consumers can expect an increase of 30-50 MPGs! The best part was the upgrade only cost $3! A short explanation of the upgrade can also be found here: http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/5f4c2bf2d2. You too can have one of these fabulous upgrades too! First Day

Yesterday was a big day at Campingdads house. It marked the beginning of a new school year at Frontier Charter Academy. Noah began fourth grade, Andrew second, and Nathanael kindergarten. Here are some of the images from the crazy morning.

Vacation

Hello to my 3 faithful readers! Campingdad has had a busy 10 days. After a mamoth rainstorm last Wednesday night, our basement flooded. Pictures will be fourthcoming. Two days later, Campingadad started his vacation. The 2008 Mancation was a journey to beautiful Ouray Colorado. To those who don't know the backstory, the Mancation began last year when my best friend, my brother, my three sons and Campingdad took a week-long camping trip to Grand Canyon and Aches National Parks. We had planned on heading to Glacier National Park this year, but with gas prices and all, we decided to take a Mancation Staycation.
After returning home this past Wednesday night, Campingdad wisked his beautiful wife of almost 11 years to a romantic bed and breakfast in Winter Park. Upon our return home, hopefully Campingdad will have his computer set back up and photos/slideshows will be posted. Thanks as always for checking back!

Coffee Sticks

One of the highlights of my days off this summer has been sharing a morning "coffee stick" with Sarabeth. She loves picking out her flavor of biscotti, then dipping it in coffee just like her dad. She takes her coffee black, just like dad! In case you were wondering, she dressed herself this morning.

Camping

I am so sorry to all my faithful readers that I haven't posted in a week. These are a few pictures from the big camping trip to Wyoming. We were joined by grandma and grandpa Roth. I was great to be out in the fresh air and sunshine of Wyoming. We took several hikes around the campsite, and one long one to the river. Roths love water! The campfire is also a huge hit. I will post a slide show of the trip as soon as I get a Flickr account set up. Until then, enjoy!
