I Have a Grand....

Dog. Noah has adopted a dog in the PDX. Good looking gal. Hope they enjoy taking her down from the 12th floor to walk and go to the bathroom!

Multnomah Falls

Everyone seems to be having a great time in Portland. Yesterday’s adventures took the group north to Multnomah Falls. What incredible photos! The next adventure will be getting them back to Greeley today. DIA is still closed and all morning flights have been canceled.

The Gang

They don’t seem that concerned with the blizzard that is raging outside right now. And yes, the black mass next to Twix is Luna.

I was Wrong

Ok, ok. I admit it. I didn’t think this storm was going to make it. Woke up this morning to 10-12 inches. And then just as I reset all the clocks in the house (Spring Ahead 1 hour!), the power went out. It stayed off for almost 3 1/2 hours. Thankful the pets and I survived. Nathanael is still out shoveling with his landscaping crew and Andrew is on the way over since he is out of food at his place.

4:47 PM

It’s Saturday afternoon and this is a live look at the house from across the street at Scotts place. I know you can barely make out our house through the blinding blizzard. Hope we make it through the night.

Cannon Beach

Just a few more real nice pictures from the beach!

Ocean

Ive said it before and I’ll say it again...there’s almost nothing that land-locked Coloradans love more then the Ocean. The PDX gang made it to Cannon Beach. Looks cold. But everyone is smiling and I’m so thankful that Jen and sis can see Noah and spend three full days with him. I hope Noah liked the care packages that were sent from Greeley from Grandma and I.

SNOWMAGEGON!

We were promised the storm to end all storms this weekend in Greeley. Waiting...

Live Music!

Andrew has been busy with quite a few things in 2021...school, dating Ari, living his best life, cooking, and playing percussion for a new band. Friday night they had back-to-back live shows at at club on East Colfax in Denver. He nailed the sold-out shows and will hopefully be able to perform with this particular band in the future. When he isn’t killing it onstage, he’s still working at the Tavern and cooking some amazing dishes at home!

Food Bank

Our Leads group for the Chamber was able to serve the community on Thursday by spending a few hours at the Weld Food Bank. I sorted 250 pounds of onions in a little less then 2 hours. It was great to be together in person with some of my favorite people!

PDX!

Look who the ladies found!! Day number 1 was successful, with a low-key time in and around Portland. Jen was recovering from her shot and was able to get a good nap in. Upcoming adventures include a trip to the ocean and maybe Multnomah Falls.

On the road...

Look at these two lucky travelers who were able to escape the upcoming blizzard and head to the beautiful Pacific Northwest for the weekend! Also thankful that Jen got her second COVID shot before the trip. Have fun ladies!

Rotary

We had a great Rotary meeting last week at the Colorado Railroad History Museum. Michelle, the Executive Director, was a very gracious host for the evening, as she gave a little history about the museum, an extensive tour, then let us roam around for awhile. We will definitely be back, either as a family or just Bonnie and I. What a cool place!

Ifit

Just catching up with a few of the challenges I have completed in the last few weeks. It is kinda fun, and rather addicting, to complete a challenge, then get an email from iFit stating my magnet is on the way! I am attempting to finish 4 challenges this month: 2 on the bike and 2 on the treadmill. So far in 2021, I have completed 78 workouts on my way to 500 for the year.
