The Boys

Traveled all the way to 8th Ave and Chippers Lanes on Friday night to support the boys! Cool venue on top of the bowling lanes. Good set list. Was fun to be joined by our friends the McBrides, Wilson, and the Doughertys.

Greeley Chamber Dinner

It was already time for the annual Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce annual dinner last week. I was proud to represent ALLO with a sponsorship of 2 tables, a silent auction item and the Title Sponsor for the casino gaming area. It was so much fun to see so many of my friends and associates! So much fun, in fact, that I only managed to take 5 pictures the entire night. Congrats to the next Ambassador of the Year, my friend Tom Shaw.

Phoffman Pt.2

It took a few days, and I had to join several different Facebook groups, but I managed to track down the set list for the show! Maybe I will finally catch “windshield” on the summer your at Red Rocks.

Phoffman

Knocked off the February concert with a trip to Ft. Collins on Saturday to see Phoffman, lead singer of Greensky Bluegrass. Enjoyed a pizza and a beer before the show, and managed to be first in line! Set list has been published yet, but got yo see “Grow Together” and a cover of “Colder Weather” among a 2 hour set and somewhere around 22 songs. Still chasing “Windshield.” He posted the final picture on Facebook after the show…he did have a few gaffes throughout the evening including breaking a string, knocking over his coffee, and forgetting the lyrics to a few songs her hadn’t played in awhile. Great show!

NoCo Ants

I was able to connect with several other DMB fans at the show last fall. We created a “NoCo Ants” Facebook group to stay connected with each other between shows. After the band decided to skip Colorado on the summer 2023 tour, I decided to get us together and have a few drinks and share our sadness. The owner of Wibby Brewing happens to be an Ant, so she opened up the brewery to our crew. Had a small turnout of 10 for the initial get together. Afterwards, Jen and I discovered a cheese importer around the corner. Pretty cool place!

Super Bowl

It was a fun and unique Super Bowl Sunday this year. We started at the Woods for their annual end of season party, trophy presentation for fantasy football, and squares. Then also baked a cake for my birthday and Mav’s half birthday!  We then traveled to a new associates home in Broomfield to joint with a bunch of other people to watch the game. The sealed smoking lounge in the basement was pretty sweet. Also won $95 for my square in the 1st quarter.

Events

A few events from the past week: seeing friends and associates at the REALTOR Summit and repping the ALLO brand…another successful GMM at TightKnit…Rotary at the Colorado Dance Collective (and YIKES!!! I’m incoming President for Satellite for 2023-24!)…and the monthly TableTop where I got to be a sponsor this month.

46

Yep, the Blogfather celebrated another birthday this week. Spent a busy day at work receiving phone calls, Facebook posts, emails, and a little party at work. Dinner was sushi with Jen, the BINGO at 477 with friends.

Cutie

Look at this cutie!! She spearheaded the Make a Wish drive for Frontier last month. They ended up raising so much money, they were able to give to two different children instead of just one. AND, she got a make-over by one of her classes. Keep up the good work, babe!

Slow

The slowness of January has bled into the beginning of February. Here are people standing around at a Greeley Chamber event and an Erie Chamber event. Andrew had another gig in Ft. Collins, then decided to go on a hike on one of the coldest days we have had in Colorado in years. Glad he survived.
