EACoC

Stopped by the Evans Area Chamber of Commerce Business Before Hours this week. My friend Jennifer has been doing such a great job growing the Chamber and attracting so many new members. Always a nice way to start a Wednesday. So…here are people standing around and talking.

PDX-SBX-First Day

We have another first day of school picture! This time it is courtesy of Sarabeth up in the Pacific Northwest. Today starts her community college year at PCC. Still trying to establish residency by next summer in order to transfer to Portland State. Have a great first day of school sister. I love you!

Fri-YAY!

It was a very nice Friday night in Greeley. Mr. and Mrs. Roth had a nice dinner at home. The other Mr. and Mrs. Roth and Little D attended the annual OctoBREWfest in downtown. We also scored some tickets to a show at the Moxi. Bumped into plenty of friends and business partners while we were enjoying a beautiful night. PROST!

PDX-SBX-Work

Look who found a job in Portland! She will be working in the dining hall (just like her dad did in 1995!) at Portland University before starting at a local bank in October. Classes start at PCC on Tuesday.

Pigs!

One of my favorite Dave songs is “Pig.” So for the third year in a row I ordered a bag of little squeaky pigs to had out to people and hide around Fiddler’s Green for N2. They were a huge hit for the people I gave them to. Shelley captured a few pictures of the Blogfather in action, handing them out and hiding them. And the guess what? Second song of the night!

TTN- Longmont

Might be one of, if not the last, trip to Longmont for TableTop Networking. Until then, here are pictures of people standing around and networking! It was a good group today, although it was a little smaller then normal. I of course wowed them as the “Town Cryer” and Table Captain Trainer.

GMM- Luna’s Edition

Another successful Greeley Mob Mixer on Wednesday! This time we mobbed Luna’s Tacos and Tequila in downtown Greeley. Great turnout, fun people, cool door prizes. We continue to have 5-8 new people per event, which is pretty cool. Wiley Roots is on deck for our October event!

Franti

Because why not chase two nights of Dave with another concert? This time it was Michael Franti at the Breckinridge Brewery event space. It probably would have been a much better time if it wasn’t 80 degrees and no shade, there weren’t 5 kids under 7 we were trying to keep track of, the venue wasn’t completely oversold, and we had to shuttle back and forth from the venue. In short, we managed to stay for 3 songs then peaced out. Woods stayed for the entire show and it took them an hour to get back to their car.

DMB Night 2- Wrap Up

It was quite a weekend with the Dave Matthews Band. 43 unique songs over two nights and no repeats. Two solid posters to add to the collection. So many laughs, tears, memories made, and friendships strengthened. The weather, while chilly and rainy, was perfect. One for the record books!

DMB Night 2- Lights Down

Thankfully the downpour we were expecting never materialized and the show went on as scheduled. Another solid 3 hour jam infused evening! While I still didn’t get to hear Dreaming Tree, we were treated to the third verse of Grey Street, So Dame Lucky, and an insane version of Crush. What a night and what a weekend. Snagging the Eads poster was also pretty special…first one I’ve captured in the wild, and the first since Gorge N3 in 2016.

DMB Night 2- Pregame

After a quick overnight stop back at home for sleep and a change of outfits, we rounded up the group for a trip back to Fiddlers! We started at the cigar bar for a smoke, before being dropped off to get in line for the night 2 poster. Walked down to the hotel and checked in. Found some food and drink at a cool food court near the hotel. Prayed the rain wouldn’t last all night and cancel the show. I even brought my pink pigs to give away and hide around the venue!.
