November 4th has finally arrived! And with it, the culmination of the campaign to elect Ryan Roth for Greeley City Council At-Large. I am proud of the campaign we ran, the tone and positivity of the campaign, and am grateful for the many supporters that have gotten us to Election Day. It is days like this that I miss mom and dad the most. Dad would have so much fun tonight at our election results party, visiting with everyone and taking pictures. Mom would be so proud of her son and the life-changing night it is about to be. I wish Noah and Sara(Beth) could be here tonight to share the evening. I can say enough about the support from Miss. Jennifer over the past year. She has stood beside me, encouraged me, and gave me strength when I was struggling and doubtful. I love you, Jen.
I’m not sure what I expected when I officially announced my campaign back in May. This has been one hell of a learning experience, and one that I’m grateful for. It has been exhilarating, challenging, eye-opening and above all, an opportunity that I’m glad I pursued. As mayor Gates said to me earlier this summer: “Being on Council will change your life.” I am cautiously optimistic that the vote will be in our favor tonight. Party starts at 6, with first results at 715.
