The next hour was a blur. Suddenly 3 bottles of champagne appeared and glasses handed out. There were hugs, high-fives, handshakes and speeches and toasts from Andrew, Jennifer and the newly elected City Councilman. Sara cried with joy (and probably relief after managing both Jonny and I’s campaigns). There were immediate requests for interviews, first from the KFKA guys, then an interview with the Greeley Tribune. More hugs and handshakes and heartfelt congratulations. Tried to be in the moment and take it all in. We had done it. We had engineered a successful political campaign and won in a landslide.
