 The monthly LULAC luncheon took place last Friday. As I expected when it was announced that Congressman Evans would be in attendance, it turned out to be pretty wild. Four individuals had to be escorted out of the building, and several GPD officers were in the parking lot after the meeting. The individuals that were kicked out were absolutely out of control. Followed that up with a much calmed event with the mayor, the MPT, and several people from the City Managers office for a small ceremony and check presentation from the Congressman. I needed a trip to Breck after all that.

Breck

 Finally made it back up to Breckenridge for the first time in a year and a half. We were able to participate in the annual Town Cleanup Day and host a small happy hour for Breck residents. Enjoyed having Jen along and introducing the intern to her first real event. Highlight was spending a few hours on a patio with the ALLO team, enjoying a few cigars and old fashioneds. Low light was the 90% tax on the cigars.
