What a great idea to rent a Jeep for the week. Thanks Scott! With the top off and the windows down, we were back on the road. Jen had bought an app that provided narrative history of the road, cool places to stop and get snacks, and interesting sights along the way. One of the highly recommended stop was for homemade banana bread and a small hike on one of the many black volcanic ash beaches. Both were highlights of the day (besides the turtles).
