Month just keeps up its frantic pace. I have the opportunity to attend the annual Colorado Municipal League conference in Broomfield last week. Three and a half days of municipal leaders from around the state sharing ideas, problems and even a few solutions. Helped me realize and reinforce that we are not unique in our current problems. Lots of different seminars to choose from including several on communication, leadership and data centers. The two keynote speakers were also stellar. Enjoyed hearing from the governor and the luncheon on day 2. Was treated to a sponsored dinner at a fancy steakhouse. Closed out the conference with a cigar at a quiet and secluded spot in the park across from the hotel to process all the information and prepare for the next 10 days.
