We left dad on the ground floor as Wes and I attmpted the assault on the summit of the Empire State Building. In New York, at the major attractions, there are a lot of two things: waiting in lines and security checkpoints. Sometimes several checkpoints. So Wes and I had some time to talk and check the Internet on the free Wi-Fi. It took us about 40 minutes to reach the 82 floor....
