I was asked by my friend Tanner (search “Tough Mudder” here on the blog) to help City staff place flags at Linn Grove Cemetery ahead of the Memorial Day event on Monday. It was an emotional and humbling experience as I placed both an American flag and a K.I.A. flag at about a dozen gravesites. Looking forward to attending the ceremony next week. Long Council night, with the highlight being 6 second graders asking for the City to open park bathrooms earlier in the year. Lowlight was a 2 hour ES on Civic Campus.
