Summer concert season is in full swing! A few shows over the summer that didn’t make the recap include George Strait and Chris Stapleton in June at Mile High and Dirty Heads at Red Rocks also in June, Here is the rest of the 2023 concert recap…
July found the group of 10 heading north to Cheyenne Frontier Days to tailgate and see Eric Church. I didn’t think he would perform it, but he wrapped up the show with “Sinners Like Me.”
Who doesn’t like middle of the week concerts? Paul invited me to experience Ghost, so off I went with him, his daughter and his friend Paul for a Tuesday night show in August at Fiddler’s Green. Saved a piece of the confetti, too.
Almost didn’t make a show in September, but managed to make it to the Moxi in Greeley with a group of friends to see Rumors, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band. Second time seeing them!
The chance to see TOOL again, this time 15 minutes from my house?!?! Sign me up. It turned out to be the first show at the newly christened Blue Arena (the poster I snagged still said Budweiser). Checked off October!
The first of two repeat bands in 2023, this time Bumpin Uglies at the Aggie in Ft. Collins in November. Friday night shows are the best. This show was special for the pre-show private acoustic show on the tour bus. Brought Coach Wood along for this one.
Wrapping up the 2023 concert list, and completing the goal for the year, was another performance by the GPO. The Poinsettia Pops show is always a highlight of the Christmas season. Enjoying the season tickets!
