We had seen the ads for the Maurice Sendak art experience at the Denver Art Museum for the past month or so. While in Denver for the Greensky show, we decided to drop in and take a gander. The exhibit was a collection of his life’s work, original pieces, the back store on many of his books, and of course the center pieces of the exhibit was focused on “Where the Wild Things Are.” It was so special to see the original illustrations, story line, and relics based on his book. “And it was still hot.” Sniff sniff. Sadly no one asked about my tattoo.
