2024 Concerts

For those of you that read the blog regularly, you know that attending concerts is one of my favorite activities to do with friends and family. In 2023, I managed to attend at least one concert per month, sometimes more. My goal in 2024 was no different. I’m not sure that the same goal will be achievable in 2025, due to the rising costs of damn near everything associated with live music: the actual ticket, parking, food, drinks, and merchandise. Maybe the goal will be to attend a few special shows at the big venues, more shows locally, and who knows, maybe travel to a show at a new venue outside of Colorado.

Overall, it was a good year for shows. I made it to a show in 9 of 12 months, missing March and April for obvious reasons, and for some reason September. Here’s some pictures from concert season 2024.

The year started with a show at the Moxi in Greeley from a Tesla cover band.

The GPO at the UCCC in Greeley in February.

TOOL at the Pepsi Center/Ball Arena in February.

Off to The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park for Postmodern Jukebox in February.

Missed a few months, but made it to Red Rocks for Michael Franti in May.

Back at Red Rocks for Trevor Hall in June.

Dirty Heads on July 1 at Red Rocks.

Zac Brown Band at Mile High Stadium in July.

The Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail for night 1 of O.A.R. In August.

Night 1 of the Dave Matthews Band at Fiddler’s Green in Greenwood Village in August

Night 2 of Dave Matthews Band at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater in Greenwood Village in August.

Weezer at Blue Arena in Loveland in October.

The GPO at the UCCC in Greeley in November.

Greensky Bluegrass at the Mission Ballroom in Denver on December 30th.
