What a year! There were tremendous highs and terrible lows. As our family continues to grow, there becomes less time all together. These times together are centered on pivotal events: funerals, weddings, graduations. Thankfully, we only had one of those this year. More on that in Part 2 arriving in a few days. Overall, it was a good year. Here is the annual 4 part series of the photos of the year, culminating with the picture of the year next week. I’ve tried to select just 2 pictures per month to represent the year that was. Some months ended up with 3 (or maybe 4).
2024 opened with a high sense of optimism. Jen was halfway through her 15th year at Frontier, I was on solid footing with a successful role at ALLO, and the kids and their significant others were all doing well. Then Monday, March 11 arrived and threw a curveball (or a granade) into our family, or at least my bowels.
