About to be a lot less of this starting today. After a second leave of absence from work this year that started back in July, I returned to work this morning in Greeley. I am so thankful for several things. First, that I enrolled in STD coverage every year I've been at Frito. I never thought that a healthy 35 year old like myself world ever need it, but you can never be sure about these things, can you? Second, that I made the decision to have ANOTHER surgery and finally get rid of that terrible, awful, no good pain I'd been experiencing since basically February. Third, I'm so thankful for everyone who helped my family and I along during what is hopefully my last fight against this cancer and it's terrible ramifications. Finally, as I return to work, I'm thankful that I was able to select a Greeley route to return to. It's such a relief to only have to drive 5 minutes to my first store at 4 AM and not 45 minutes or more. The route looks like a good one, but I have only been on it for a day! I hope and pray my body can adjust to the new demands that are placed on it, and that my colostomy bag isn't a hinderence to the work I need to do. Time for bed. 3:25 is going to be here pretty soon.
