Candy!

One of the kids favorite nights of the year! We were blessed with very nice weather for an evening of trick-or-treating. Noah had miracle mile practice after school. It's a tradition that at the end of the season that each athlete tries to run there personal record over the course of a mile. Noah ran a 6:12. Wow!! After practice, he spent the evening at a friends house for a "garage party" and sleepover.

Andrew, who as a 13 year old, thinks he is too old to trick or treat, but not old enough to party, decided to have his friend over to spend the night quietly in the basement.

That left the littles and I to bring home the candy haul. We began our evening by walking St. Michaels square. We even ran into our favorite dentist Dr. McGuffey! He was handing out toothbrushes. After a quick dinner, we were invited to join the Cooks annual extravaganza! There must have been almost 50 adults and kids that were ready to take on the night. We broke into smaller groups. And spent almost 2 hours canvassing the neighborhoods. It was the greatest haul of candy we have ever had. Might still be eating it next Halloween.
