Spin

One of the final things I wanted to accomplish in my recovery from stupid cancer was get back on my bike and start attending my twice a week spin class. I haven't been able to sit on a bike seat since the first week of August in 2012. So basically 15 months. Finally my bottom is feeling better, my surgery wounds have healed, and I have figured out the problems I was having with my bag. So the question remained: would I be able to sit normally on a bike seat and pedal? Would the bag placement be in the wrong place? I found out on Tuesday night.

Success! My first spin class in 18 months was successful. Other then being terribly out of shape, I was able to do about 90% of the class. Some of the post ride stretches were pretty tough, especially the heavy duty ab work. But I guess 5 abdominal surgeries in 15 months with do that to a guy. The pedaling went well, and I didn't have any problems with my bag. It felt so great to be pedaling again, even if it was inside on a spin bike. Another class tonight!
