Mrs. Roth

Pretty incredible woman she is. Other then helping her husband defeat cancer these last 19 months, here are a few of the things she has been up to: teaching Monday through Thursday to most of the 6th and 8th graders at Frontier. Middle school yearbook advisor. Credit Recovery teacher/lead administrator on Fridays from 8-noon or later. Middle school liaison to the Orgainization of Parents and Teachers (OPT). Middle school English department chairwoman. She also attends the monthly Frontier board of directors meetings to give voice to the middle school teachers and students. And who can forget all the grading an English teacher has to do on a weekly basis. Oh yeah, and she has four kids, two dogs and a turtle at home waiting for her in the evenings. Needless to say, she is a pretty incredible woman.

This is a photo of her in action last Thursday in her classroom at Frontier. Each fall, she sets her room up as a coffee house and serves drinks and fun breakfast snacks while the students each get a chance to read two of the poems they have written. It is always a huge hit with the kids, and allows parents to come in and experience Jens classroom and amazing teaching skills. As always, nice work babe. Very proud of you and all the different rolls you excel at everyday!
