No, not the kind that holds back water, the kind with art in it! I was able to travel to Denver today with Nathanael's class for a day at the Denver Art Museum. Nathanael has been there several times, but this was my first trip. I was blown away! What an amazing place. We had a museum docent lead us around through several exhibits in the morning. Lunch was in a sack at the sculpture garden. Then we had an hour in the afternoon to wander around. My favorite piece was the map of America with all sorts of historical and pop culture references. Nathanael's favorite was the light and sound room. I can't wait to go back and spend more time taking in all the amazing art. Free day this Saturday!
