The Friends of Ryan Roth hosted a launch party and fundraiser kickoff at Luna’s a few weeks ago. The place was packed with supporters, who got to hear from Ryan on his vision and goals as a candidate and ultimately as the new City Council At-Large representative. The outpouring of support was overwhelming. Thank you to everyone that attended, provide financial support, and offered to volunteer. Next big event for the campaign is walking in the Stampede Parade on July 4th.
I wish there was a way to know you were in the good old days, before you’ve actually left them.

LNCO-Graduation
It was a very successful final class of Leadership Northern Colorado. We were joined by many nonprofit leaders in the region for a day focused on giving back. It was great to see my friend Ben, Meline from United Way and Tim from the Northern Colorado Foundation. We were treated to a very nice graduation, including a keynote address from a local motivational speaker, before our final happy hour and goodbyes. The highlight of the class this month was the final activity we did where we sat with our backs to the middle of a circle and the facilitator has 5 of our classmates stand in the middle. She the read out statements like “This person made the class better,” and “this person is a leader.” Then the people in the middle would lightly tap you on the shoulder if that statement applied to you. It was very powerful and very moving.

O.A.R.-Red Rocks
Lights down for night 2! Setlist was great and slightly different from N1. The crew had a great vibe going throughout the night. We were ready for “Poker” this time, and let the cards fly! Won’t be back at Red Rocks for 5 more days as Dirty Heads is on deck!

Vail-Travel Day
Collected all our stuff, gathered the group, and started the drive down the hill to Red Rocks. Traffic was terrible. On the way up the hill on Thursday, too. Thankfully a few other people took some pictures. We arrived to the tailgate and it was HOT. 95 to be exact. The 10x10 helped a bit. Sean made dinner. We had a few sticks, and visited and laughed together for a few hours before making our was inside around 630.
