Hard to believe I was elected to city council one year ago today in a landslide. And what a year it has been. As I said during an interview on KFKA this week, “Governing is hard. Harder than I expected.” The ballot measure 2F was soundly defeated on Tuesday night. Bella and I were treated to a helicopter landing and a beautiful sunrise against the mountains. Throw in watching the Broncos win with a Chiefs fan, a rotary club meeting, the election watch party with supporters, a prayer circle (not pictured), and some other shenanigans including a visit from the new ALLO CEO, a well-earned recognition from the NCVRC, and finally Luna deciding if she wanted to follow Bella and I on the morning walk.
