I had stepped out of the suite for just a minute, and when I walked back in, I couldn’t believe who was standing there. NFL Hall of Famer Champ Bailey. #24 himself. It was fun to visit with him, get a photo and a signed hat. He ended up sitting in the suite for the entire game. Pretty special. I shared how important the Broncos were to our family, beginning with mom and dad’s first date to the original Mile High on December 10, 1972. Dad would have loved the story of his son hanging with Champ in a suite at Mile High.
