Water, water everywhere (and all the shit in Greeley, and no, not City Council). I had the privilege of accompanying Mayor Pro Tem McDonald on a tour of the City of Greeley’s water resources last week. We visited several sites in and around Greeley, including our waste treatment plant, a construction site where the water department is replacing aging infrastructure, the site of the construction ear Cascadia, and finally in Belview treatment plant in the heart of Loveland. We also stopped by Poudre Ponds, which will be refilled this spring. It was pretty incredible to see the in inner workings of Water and Sewer department. We are lucky to have the water resources we do here, especially when many other surrounding communities are and will be struggling this summer.
