The Candidate- Parade

There are few traditions in Colorado bigger than the Greeley Independence Day parade. It’s such a big deal that it is broadcast live on 9News. So what does a Candidate who is running for City Council do? Of course get his friends and supporters to walk with him! We had a great group that waited around for almost 2 hours in 90 degree heat for entry 112 to make their way down 10th Ave. It was quite the experience: both humbling and exciting. We handed out candy and stickers, waved and waved and waved, and were greeted and cheered on by so many people in the crowd. The official attendance was somewhere north of 40,000 people. We celebrated with cold drinks at Weldwerks!
