After lunch in Moab, we stopped along the Colorado River to hike the Negro Bill Trail. It was 2 1/4 mile out and back. We made it about a mile and a half, maybe a little more, maybe a little less. We did find a shallow spot along one of the tributaries to the Colorado for the kids to cool off in. They enjoyed splashing in the cold, clear water. It was a great hike, nice and level and pretty shady in spots. Lots of little lizards like this guy were running around. Kids wanted to catch one and bring it home, but they were pretty quick!
