The bachelor party was a smashing success, with the guys gathering in Denver for a fancy dinner, then moving the party to Nathanael’s house for board games! Thanks to Noah and Sara(Beth) for making the quick weekend trip to Colorado. A special surprise was getting to see sis, who changed her flight at the last minute in order to stay the night and see me. :) Wedding is 5 weeks away!
The wedding is approaching! The weekend was very full with events, including a full slate of ALLO activities in Greeley, Ari’s bridal shower, and Andrew’s bachelor party respectively. As a bonus, both Noah and Sara(Beth) we in town for a little over 24 hours. The shower was just beautiful, with a pink and white theme. The food was delicious, the ladies played a few fun games, and Ari was blessed by the women in her life.
A pile of randoms from the week including Rotary, a UNC men’s game (lost to Montana), some friends, and some work. Big weekend ahead with the visit to Colorado of both Sara(Beth) and Noah for the bridal shower and bachelor party respectively. I won’t get to see sis, since it will be a full day of ALLO events in downtown Greeley including Freezy Daze and the WeldWerks invite.
We mobbed the new Yetter’s Brewing in January and the pics are just arriving from the professional we hired. It was, as always, a fantastic turnout from the business community. Dan Yetter’s also greatly appreciated us selecting his brewery. Katie and CJ were both great with the door prizes, so I tried the manage the crazy and look good doing it. Supporting local businesses is so important!
Here comes gala season! The Brighton Chamber of Commerce kicked things off last week with their annual gala. Can you guess the theme? I was honored to be able to provide the opening remarks, as well as the prerecorded acceptance speech for ALLO, which was awarded “People’s Choice Award” for our continued partnership with the people, businesses, and civic organizations in the city. We had a great time, as you can tell. Even had the chance to meet newly elected US Representative Gabe Evans. Greeley on deck and Erie in the hole!
With no football to watch, Sunday consisted of the Evans Chamber Bowl-A-Thon and fundraiser. ALLO was able to have 2, 6 person teams and competed for fun prizes and awards. And what event would be complete without a Photo Booth? I had one of my best days ever on the lanes, and won “Best Men’s Score” with a 169. BOOM! How about that trophy, huh?
