What better way to spend our 27th wedding anniversary than a gala! Friday was the Farm to Table event for the Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton. We were joined by our friends the Ginns and the CEO of the Brighton Chamber and her husband. Little warm in the tent, but a beautiful night as the sun went down. Happy anniversary babe.
It’s been a hella lot of work, but she did it. Jen was awarded her 15 year recognition plaque and bonus at the Frontier Academy in service day this week. She begins her 16 year as the learning center director, managing the library, ISS room, Chromebooks, and intervention teachers. It will be a challenging year, but I know she is up to the task. Congrats babe.
What exactly do you do all week, Ryan? Well, here is a snapshot of a “normal” week in events world. Sunday we caught our breath at Weldwerks for dinner and some pets from Weldwerks employees. Monday was the new educator luncheon in Brighton, followed by an ALLO happy hour that Maria and I put together. Tuesday was the groundbreaking for our newest community of Kersey. Wednesday was back to Brighton for TableTop Networking followed by a meeting with ENT Credit Union and United Power to plan for our upcoming joint Business After Hours in October. Wednesday night was another Greeley Mob Mixer at TightKnit. Skipped another trip to Brighton on Thursday morning because we were both tired. Dinner with Otto’s at Weldwerks wrapped up Thursday. Friday was a meeting of the Downtown Business Owners group in the Rockies Room at the Doubletree flowed by planning for Monster Day on Saturday. Closed the night with another trip to Brighton for the Farm to Table gala for the hospital foundation. We also celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary.
Here is Sara(Beth) with Gabe’s family at the rodeo in or around Portland this week. I wish she was having more fun. Nice hat, sis!
Who doesn’t love having the mic? Honestly, quite a few people hate it and the attention. I’m not one of those people. Going back a few weeks, here is the Boys and Girls Clubs night as well as the bike giveaway we did with the DDA and City of Greeley.
One more first day of school picture! This time its Mr. Roth starting his second year in English at Valley High School. Go Vikings! There’s also some various internet things from the last few weeks that I have played a role in. I was honored to meet Phil years ago at the Tour of Colorado. My friend and fellow Rotarian Dan Yetters finally got his brewery open after a lengthy delay. Fun to see the video I did for Chalice get some plays. I made the ALLO Nebraska page! Andrew finally brought back all the Tupperware he and Ari used last year. It’s also GRIT season (wonder who authorized that logo?).
