Jasmin

 All the way back in March, when I was recovering in a Ft. Lauderdale hospital, Maria and Lauren interviewed the finalists for the internship at ALLO for the summer. The selection turned out to be a sophomore at the UNC Monfort School of Business named Jasmin. She rolled into the office the second week of May and jumped right into the craziness of Event season. She turned out to be a total rockstar, who was a delight to have in the office, on the golf course, and at a variety of crazy events (even a trip in a hot air balloon ride!). We celebrated her yesterday with cookies, cards and a nice lunch out. I’ll miss you Jazzy Jaz. Thank you for the nice things you said. 

Weekend!

 Made it through! Highlights were the ALLO hosted Business After Hours with the Brighton Chamber, a quick trip to Erie for their BAH, a Brighton Chamber luncheon, and our intern Jasmin’s last day. I’ll miss her terribly. She was an incredible addition to the Events team and saved our butts several times over the course of the summer. I’ll follow up this post with a Jasmin post, because she is rad. 

Halfway

 Already almost done with another jammed-packed week. Jen started her 16th year at Frontier on Monday, and begins her tenure leading the Learning Center. Proud of the work she did there over the summer. We had our 14th and final golf tournament of the summer, this one with the Blue & Gold Club with UNC. I set up a local photographer to take some headshots for the team in hopes that they will update or even create a LinkedIn profile page. Hosted a booth for the back to school kickoff with University High (and got 6 sales!). Also, a new tattoo in the family…

2!

 Seems like just yesterday…or at least two years ago. Happy 2nd anniversary to Than and Ruthie. Hope the trip to Wyoming was special. Thanks for checking in on mom and dad. We love you!

Saturday(ish)

 Band sponsor for the Eaton Rec Center customer celebration. Zero sales, since the people we talked to all had our service. At least the weather was nice. Saturday was the Success Foundation back to school/backpack day. They handed out 4000 new backpacks in a little over 3 hours. We had one of, if not THE, best table there. COMCAST only had bags, losers. Finished the day with Deadpool and Wolverine at the Kress. 

YFC Golf

 So proud of the work that Than and Ruthie continue to do at YFC. They helped run the annual golf tournament last week and raised close to $60,000. Way to go, kids! 

Friday

 Rolling into the weekend, with only 2 events on the horizon. The fire west of Loveland is now the largest in the state. Thankfully, the wind has kept the smoke mostly away from Greeley. Stopped by KFKA on Wednesday for a chat on the radio. The Southeast Weld Chamber luncheon and talk from United Power’s CEO. Bella! June was a perfect month (I don’t know how I did it, I just did it it was hard). Some nice words from a teammate on the work the Events team did and a sponsorship for A Women’s Place.
