Dirty Heads 2025 Red Rocks
Lights down! It was a fantastic performance from Dirty. The vibe was strong in the 5th row, as we danced, sang, took silly pictures, and lost ourselves in the music. I can’t believe that these were the only two shows at Red Rocks we have tickets for this year. Set list ended up being the strongest of the bands three shows in Colorado.
Dirty Heads- Red Rocks Pregame
Back to Red Rocks! This time it was for the annual pilgrimage to see one of my new favorite bands, the Dirty Heads. Denver traffic strikes again, with an almost 2 hour drive to Greeley. We scored a prime parking space, and decided to forgo tailgating for getting in line early so we could snag great seats and hopefully even get a poster (foil preferred, of course). Lots of interesting people to chat with while we were waiting, then it was time for the mad dash inside! Go Ryan! Go Wood!
The Candidate- Launch
The Friends of Ryan Roth hosted a launch party and fundraiser kickoff at Luna’s a few weeks ago. The place was packed with supporters, who got to hear from Ryan on his vision and goals as a candidate and ultimately as the new City Council At-Large representative. The outpouring of support was overwhelming. Thank you to everyone that attended, provide financial support, and offered to volunteer. Next big event for the campaign is walking in the Stampede Parade on July 4th.
LNCO-Graduation
It was a very successful final class of Leadership Northern Colorado. We were joined by many nonprofit leaders in the region for a day focused on giving back. It was great to see my friend Ben, Meline from United Way and Tim from the Northern Colorado Foundation. We were treated to a very nice graduation, including a keynote address from a local motivational speaker, before our final happy hour and goodbyes. The highlight of the class this month was the final activity we did where we sat with our backs to the middle of a circle and the facilitator has 5 of our classmates stand in the middle. She the read out statements like “This person made the class better,” and “this person is a leader.” Then the people in the middle would lightly tap you on the shoulder if that statement applied to you. It was very powerful and very moving.
