In the middle of all the crazy last month, Baxter started not feeling well. Andrew was the only person home, so he took Baxter to the vet to get checked out. There was no success with the medications, so he had the privilege of ushering Baxter across the Rainbow Bridge. Baxter was a good dog for our family for over a decade. He was well loved, well taken care of, and lived a good life. It’s very quiet around the house, and for the first time since 2002, we don’t have a dog keeping us company.
