Over the weekend, in a different universe where things would have been much, much different, mom and dad would have celebrated their 50th anniversary. Instead of gathering in Laramie to celebrate, make memories, and be together as a family, we were spread out across the globe. I hope that in some way, mom and dad have found each other and were somehow able to recognize this earthly milestone.
