Our last day in Portland was spent making sure Sarabeth had a successful launch in her new life: grocery shopping! We had brunch with Noah and Sariah while sis was at her morning appointment. Then it was time to load the kids up with food. Finally, the part we had been dreading but knew was coming: goodbye. We did receive the last picture when we landed in Denver which made my heart happy (and would have pleased Grandma Roth so much who loved making sure the kids all had a cake on their birthday). The pictures of the Southwest plane was taken from the park across the street from their house.
As my friend Paul said, it’s not goodbye…its see you soon. I love you Sarabeth. See you soon.
