Better

Wow, what a difference a week makes. Had a positive check-up with my surgeon yesterday as I continue to heal up. Still some pain, but nothing like I was having. The lab reports came back negative for any sort of cancer in my appendix. My surgeon actually called me himself on Thursday to tell me the good news.

So last night we celebrated with a night on the towns! We started with a gallery opening of our friends artwork at the Atlas Theater. Then we picked up Andrew and Rebecca and made the drive to FTC where our friend Jay Shambo was celebrating the release of his new beer. New Belgium Brewery actually brewed his recipe and is entering it at the Great American Brew festival in Denver next week. WOW! So the tapping party at the Tap and Handle was pretty fun. It's a pretty great beer!!
