In April of 2017 I officially joined Rotary. I had attended RYLA in June of 1994, and each of the kids had either attended RYLA or Young RYLA. I officially moved my membership to the Satellite Club in 2020. On July 1, I was elected President of the Club for the 2023-24 year. We attended the transition dinner where the “gavel was passed” from my good friend Ben to myself. It will be an honor to serve our Club and the Greeley community in this capacity over the upcoming year!
I wish there was a way to know you were in the good old days, before you’ve actually left them.

Church
Time to head north for our annual adventure to Cheyenne Frontier Days! The crew loaded up and we were off to see Eric Church. Stopped for dinner before making our way to Frontier Park. Quite a bit of the fun is taking silly pictures throughout the night! Great set list, good seats, and as always, amazing memories made with good friends. Made it home by 140.
BBB
Well, after hearing about it for over a year, the Big Balloon Build finally arrived in Greeley. Balloon Artists from around the world have created an immersive experience made completely out of balloons. I was able to attend the ribbon cutting and the business after hours on the first night. It’s pretty cool. Even met one of the artists from Washington D.C. and get a picture of her in front of her creation. And it’s always fun to connect with friends!
Eras
Speaking of the Eras Tour, it landed in Denver last week and this group got to experience it firsthand! Heard rumors the two nights generated over $100 million into the local economy. She jammed out for over 3 1/2 hours.
PDX-Noah
It’s been a warm one in the Northwest, and the lack of air conditioning doesn’t help. So they found some water to cool off in. Big road trip this weekend to Seattle to see the traveling circus known as “The Eras Tour.” Have fun, kids!

Randoms
Out and about on summer vacation (Jen) and regular workdays (Ryan). Still networking in the community, just trying to be a little more selective in my time. Love the Mob Mixer. Stepping back from TableTop. Trying to maintain a presence in the Chamber. Busy leadership year on the horizon. Enjoying setting up my team at ALLO for success at various events (just need it to stop raining in the evenings).
4th
Fairly uneventful 4th of July for the group this year. We hosted the cookout with some tri-tip on the Traeger. The gang brought all the fixings’. Once the downpour started, we moved the party across the street to continue the silliness. Quite a few families in the neighborhood brew through thousands of dollars in fireworks, so we enjoyed those.
PDX-Summer Fun
Sis continues to kill it up in the PDX. She gains confidence by the day, and is most definitely living her best life. This past weekend was the Lavender Festival. She was also featured in a commercial for her credit union, ran a table at an event, and squeezed in a trip to the ocean!
