There are a few more pictures that are rolling in from various people from the Europe trip. The ladies had a great time, that’s for sure. The stories have been fun to hear and the special souvenirs and treasures they brought home were very thoughtful. It’s been nice to have people back in the house…was getting a little lonely. Onto summertime adventures!
All good things must come to an end sometime…the ladies had an uneventful trip home on Wednesday. Sis got an unexpected upgrade on the 10 hour flight, which was nice. Now the jet lag is starting to set in. Quite a few cool treasures they brought home in addition to the stories and the memories that will last a lifetime.
The travelers are wrapping up their time in Europe…but first an epic day in Venice! And Jen got on a boat! In the water! And seems to be happy about it! On a side note…all the travelers passed their COVID exam and will get to board the plane home tomorrow.
I haven’t posted one of these for quite some time…so here is a SnapMap of where we all are right now. Sarabeth hasn’t opened Snapchat yet today, so she isn’t on the map or has her location hidden.
The travelers are exploring Austria on their way to Italy before starting the journey home on Wednesday. I miss them. Beautiful pictures I continue to receive…I can’t imagine seeing all this in person. Keep having fun and making memories! On a side note, I wonder who Jen is texting?
Hard to believe how quickly life can change sometimes. The first two pictures came up in my memories yesterday, followed by the other pictures. Only 4 years apart. It was nice to make a solo trip back home to visit mom and dad. I cleaned up the “neighborhood”, removed the flowers from the funeral, placed new flowers, and had a good talk with the folks. Also drove by 179 and 1626. After a quick stop at Coal Creek and Bonds Brewing, it was back on the road to Greeley. I was able to have a chat with Jen on the way home as she wrapped up her day in Austria.
If it’s summer in Greeley, it must be time for the weekend FridayFest and Go-Cup district in downtown. This week was the Blues Jam, so there was live music in each of the bars and restaurants. I even found some fools to clown around with and make memories. Even ran into my new “roommate” at 1130 at Patricks with his group of friends.
There is some other stuff going on back home in America while the ladies are living large in Europe. I passed the one gallon mark in blood donation last week. The Mountain View E-Free church youth group trip is this week and Pastor Mike contacted Wes to see if they could stay at his church on their way to North Dakota, and this morning I got the pictures of the group outside Wesley’s church! Scribbs and I also played in a cornhole tournament and placed 20th out of 62 teams.
I’ve kinda lost track of how/where the trip currently is. So here is a batch of pictures from the last few days. The crew is in Austria today, Sunday, on the was to Italy where they will finish the trip and begin the journey home late Wednesday.
