This is a picture of a swanky reserved parking spot in the Frontier High School parking lot. It is given to a different student each week from their AP World History teacher based on exceptional performance in her class. Nice work Toby!
I wish there was a way to know you were in the good old days, before you’ve actually left them.

Rock of Ages
ROCK ON!! I had no idea what the book/movie/musical was about when we attende the dinner theater at the Mid Town Arts Center in Ft. Collins several weeks ago. It was awesome. So awesome in fact, that I used half the soundtrack at my spin class this week. We had great seats in the front row with the Woods. Even managed to sneak in a quick trip to 1933 Brewing before the show.

Beauty and the Beast
Last night concluded the three night run of the fall middle school drama production of "Beauty and the Beast." Nathanael played the part of Bruno and just killed it. He is so comfortable on stage, knows his lines so well, and knows just how to draw out his speaking parts to receive the maximum response from the audience. It was fun to watch him opposite his acting duo Brock, who playe the Beast. After the show each night, TCBY was the chosen destination for the cast. Practice for the spring musical begins in just 3 weeks!

40
It was a night to remember on October 30th, when Jen turned 40. She had been asking for a party since early in the summer, so I pulled off a surprise party for her! The birthday girl was surprised by a group of 40, including her mom and dad, in-laws, and Wes, Kim, Kaleb and Elsie! A big thank-you to everyone that made time to celebrate Jennifer and show her how loved and appreciated she is. Happy 40th Babe! I love you!

Hello Again
But a bit quiet here on the blog the last several weeks. Seems like the head blogger started a new route with The Company and has been adjusting to his new life and schedule. Mostly it looks like this:
315AM: Alarm Sounds
345AM: Leave Greeley
415AM-330PM: Kinda blurry
400PM: Return home, feed kids, possibly bump into roommate.
630 PM: Bedtime!!
Here are a few pictures from the new route. The first is from outside one of my new stores west of Horsetooth. Pretty good looking herd (pack? family?) of deer. The second is a small portion of stale product removed from another one of my new stores. It's what happens when the previous person who has since left the company, gave up. Hope to resume blogging and catch everyone up on the comings and goings of the family.

School, athletics, friends, youth group, leadership activities and even Shreder! I pray the year ahead for you is amazing and challenging and memorable. Always remember how much mom and I love you. Happy 17th birthday son!

Harvest Party
There are going to be a lot of lasts and finals this year at the elementary school and Sarabeth finishes up 5th grade and moves to middle school next year. Yesterday was one of those finals. It was the final Harvest Party I'll get to attend as a parent. Andrew and I caught up with the 5th graders while they were playing games out on the playground. Sisters class won and got to dig into the treats first!
