Andrew

Andrew is thankful on this Christmas break to have some time off from school. He was also really excited for the visit from his Wyoming and South Dakota family. He also discovered that when the gifts you ask for are more expensive, you get quite a bit fewer. But the new tablet he got should keep him busy and be helpful next semester at school. The Lego set of the United Nations will be a nice addition to his collection. Cash from grandparents in Grand Junction will help purchase Steam games! 

Noah

Noah has been enjoying his Christmas break: staying up late, sleeping late, a break from training, and a visit from his grandparents and aunt, uncle and cousin! His presents this year focused on his love of technology and Doctor Who. Also warm blankets and slippers for all the time he spends in the basement. I'm sure Jen and I won't regret those new speakers at all! He also loved his signed and numbered tour poster from the Demon Hunter world tour that just concluded. 

Christmas Morning

Everyone was up and at em pretty early on Wednesday morning. The group from the hotel arrived by 7, the coffee was flowing by 7:05, and presents were beginning to be opened by 7:20. The eleven of us had a great morning celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Christmas morning adventure has begun! Everyone has been so thoughtful and so generous this Christmas season. Beautiful morning here in Greeley. So thankful to be together with everyone from the Roth side of the family this year. 

Christmas Eve

Busy afternoon and evening! We decorated more cookies! Kaleb napped. Ryan, Bob and Sarabeth delivered the homemade breads to the neighbors. All 11 of us attended the Christmas Eve service at Journey Christian. We returned home to the delicious smells of meat cooking in the crock pot. Jen made another amazing meal, this time her street tacos with all the fixings. Then we gathered in the living room as everyone selected one present to open. From the looks of things, it's going to be a very merry Christmas morning. Santa is busily filling stockings and eating cookies. There were even some carrots that were left for the reindeer! 

Christmas Eve Morning

It's been a wonderful vacation week so far this week. Mom and dad arrived on Sunday afternoon with their car full of presents. After a fabulous dinner of homemade calzones, we ventured downtown to the Kress Theater. They were showing "It's a Wonderful Life" on the big screen. The movie was enjoyed by all! 

Yesterday was full of last minute shopping while waiting for Wesley, Kim and Kaleb to arrive. Another home made dinner of chicken noodle soup was waiting for them at 3106! And more presents were unpacked and placed beneath the tree. 

Christmas Eve began with another amazing home made meal, this time Jennifer's world famous breakfast burritos. She also made 11 more breakfast breads to deliver later today to the neighbors. The rest of the morning was spent visiting, playing with Kaleb, and snacking on the pile of home made goods brought from Laramie and Sturgis.
