Wine & Whiskey

We had the privilege of attending the annual Wines & Whiskey of Note, a benefit event supporting the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra over the weekend. It was a great event, and we were able to connect with quite a few leaders and decision makers in Northern Colorado. We also sampled some outstanding wines, and a few drinks from 477. And yes, it was in fact a western theme.

Busy

Like the previous post said, back to the craziness. Presided over another solid Rotary meeting, this time at Greeley Hat Works. We continue to grow and attract new members. Chased that with the annual Dream Team breakfast, which my teammate Maria was awarded the Honored Alumni award. Another golf tournament, this time supporting local firefighters. Also managed to get a promo video completed for the next Mob Mixer, this time at Aunt Helen’s coffee and wine bar.

Another Week…

Jumped right back into the craziness of work and life…but first one more memory (and the final picture of the Summer ‘23 poster), this time with the Woods. We joined them at Mishawaka for breakfast by the river. Sadly the heavy rain the night before caused the river to look like chocolate milk, from runoff from the burn scar. Cool place to eat. Happy end of summer!

FLL-Travel Day

Time to head home! While the heat and humidity (as well as the remnants of the hurricane) were fun, it was time to begin the journey home. Dropped the car off in WPB, then another hour long Uber to the FLL airport. Quick bite to eat at the bar, and we were on our way home on an uneventful flight. And guess who was waiting as I walked in the door at 6? Sarabeth. :)

FLL-Beach

We journey back to the beach to watch they sunset and enjoy a stick together on our last night. We picked a great night too, with only about a dozen other people on the beach. The colors were amazing! We enjoyed many laughs, a few brews, and contemplated the adventures and challenges that would be waiting for us back in Colorado.

FLL-Thursday

Mrs. Barnhart suggested to try out a place called Key Lime Lounge. And try it out we did. It turned out to be the main activity of that day, as we enjoyed some drinks, peel and eat shrimp, and watched the boats and people come and go.
