PDX-Saturday Lunch

After reuniting, we journeyed to the same food truck park we visited in September. Thankfully it was almost 60 degrees cooler this time. Love the sweater that Hashbrown was rocking that was handmade by Sariah.

PDX-Let’s Find Those Kids!

It’s Spring Break! And you know what that means! No, not a trip to a warm beach somewhere, but a trip to the Pacific Northwest to find the kids! And guess what? Success. After bumping into Jeff and Krista who were leaving on their own adventure to Austin, we boarded a half-full flight and could spread out. Met Noah and Sariah for brunch at a cute vegan bakery while we waited for Sarabeth to get off work at the credit union. And then we were reunited (and I might have cried).

PETs

I had the privilege of attending the annual PETs conference for President Elects for Rotary in Denver a few weeks ago. It was fun to gather with several hundred other Rotarians from around the Rocky Mountain west for 3 days of learning, encouraging, and planning for our Rotary year. I was joined by the other PEs from Greeley as well as our AG and AGE. First time I’ve ever seen an iron lung in person. I was also able to receive my flag for the upcoming year.

Chalice

For those that follow the blog, you know that I have worked with my friend Chalice and her coaching business “Unstoppable Curiosity” for several years. She has been instrumental in coaching me through several job changes, the sickness and passing of mom, and some incredible personal and professional growth. She asked me to be interviewed and filmed for some content she will be posting on various social media sites in the future. Thanks for asking, my friend!

Rotary-Mariposa

We had a very nice Rotary meeting at Mariposa Plants and Flowers last week. One of our members earned a Paul Harris award, which was presented to him by his dad. Only a little over three months until the Blogfather takes over as the new president!

Cuttings

As a busy PR/Events/Brand ambassador for ALLO, I now have five different communities that I’m involved in. Over the last few weeks, there have been numerous ribbon cuttings that I’ve been able to attend in Erie and Greeley. Here we are standing around and cutting ribbons!

Groundbreaking

It’s already time for another groundbreaking, this time in Brighton. It had to be pushed back a week due to poor weather. So of course the rescheduled date also had pretty poor weather. But the show must go on, so I was able to represent the company since our GM was unable to attend. Great turnout, in spite of the weather: mayor, city manager, town council, Chamber of Commerce, and about a dozen ALLO folks.

Southeast Weld

At the conclusion of Freeze Daze, I hustled down to the Wild Animal Sanctuary for the Southeast Weld Chamber of Commerce annual dinner. I was able to join 8 of my teammates, include the Colorado GM and the CEO/founder of ALLO. Pretty cool place…I’d like to come back when its warmer and light out!

Freezy Daze

ALLO was able to be the corporate sponsor for the first ever “Freezy Daze” in downtown Greeley. There was shopping, food specials, and even a Photo Booth at the ALLO storefront! Thanks ALLO for your sponsorship!
