Wrapped

A tradition unlike any other. No, not the Masters. Spotify Wrapped! All the hard work from the past year celebrated in an email that arrives each December 1. It’s so much fun to see what everyone is listening to throughout the year. So, without further ado, here are 5 of the 6 Spotify lists from 2021! Who is who? One thing is sure, we love music here in our family.  66,000 minutes???

Eagles

Finally made it back to an Eagles game over the weekend. What’s it been, 2 1/2 years? One of the lessons I’ve  learned over the last few years, and one that I try and keep in mind on a day to day basis, is don’t take friends, activities and adventures for granted. You never know when they could be taken away from you on a moments notice.

BTW, the Eagles lost 4-1. It was still fun. We were able to give the stocking caps we got at the front door to a family sitting next to us with two young kids who were late to the game and didn’t get hats.

Randoms

Just to try and catch up with a few other random pictures for the last few months…some networking events…a house concert with Ari Heist…silly pictures with good friends…

Meow

As in Meow Wolf. For those that know, you know. For those that don’t, google it. We finally made it to the Denver instillation over Thanksgiving break. I was completely blown away. Wow. We spent a little over two hours wandering around and trying to figure out what it a meant. Could have easily spent another 3. Even the beer in the cafe was cool. I hope that there is a return trip over Christmas vacation while Noah is home. Now we need to travel to Santa Fe and Vegas to see the other two! We might have also made a stop at the best bookstore in America…

Cutting Ribbons

Made to the Ribbon Cutting for one of Greeley’s newest businesses yesterday, Magical Memories. We even got to have a tea party, eat cake and get a picture with a princess. You never know what your going to get at these ribbon cuttings, that’s for sure.

Lifestories

We had an opportunity to support Lifestories and CASA last night in downtown with a progressive dinner featuring several of the downtown areas restaurants and bars. We were pleasantly surprised to be joined by our friends the Jones, who happened to be celebrating their anniversary! I’ll have a few more pictures next week, but here are a few from the evening.

Thanksgiving

We were so pleased that WKKE were able to make the drive to Greeley to spend a few days with us. We hadn’t see Kim and the kids in 2 years, and Wes since April. I smoked a turkey on the Traeger, while Jen nailed the dinner. The kids enjoyed playing with their cousins, and we were all thankful for the time we were able to spend together.

Parade

For the first time in 3 years, the Greeley Light the Night parade returned to downtown over the weekend. It was perfect weather to celebrate the start of the Christmas season. I was able to volunteer with several other Ambassadors to work security. After the stress of surviving that assignment, it was time for a drink at Tower. Also fun to have the AOTYs together!

Rotary

Yep, still an active member of the Satellite Rotary club. Yep, still in charge of the bi-monthly program, both location and speaker. Yep, still bringing in a wide variety of informative and interesting community members. Last night at the Tavern we heard from Lowell Graham, the new conductor of the GPO. I always enjoy seeing my fellow Rotarians.

Breakfast

Hi everyone! The Blogmaster has returned. Welcome to December and the final 31 days of 2021. It’s been pretty wild around here these past several months. Once again, where to even start? How about with the Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year breakfast this morning? It’s been fun and honoring to serve on their Great Futures Board this past year. I was pleased to be asked to host a table at the breakfast this morning. Thanks to my friend Brady for the shout-out on social media.

23

Happy 23rd birthday to my favorite oldest. Will that joke ever get old? Nope. I hope you enjoyed your trip home last weekend and are having a blast in Seattle! I love you.
