Nathanael and Ruthie scheduled a weeks vacation together last week to celebrate their one year anniversary. And boy, did they pack in the fun! Two trips to Denver, a trip to Fort Collins, meals with their families and friends, and a beautiful dinner at a fancy restaurant in Denver. Here are just a few pictures from their adventures!
I wish there was a way to know you were in the good old days, before you’ve actually left them.

Strongman
Besides being an amazing pastor in the great state of South Dakota, it appears my brother has been hitting the local gym! Look at those gains. I can’t believe how big my niece and nephew are getting as well. It’s been since December of 2019 since we saw them last.

MOB MIXER
Back in October, it was suggested to me that I should start my own networking group, since at the time we weren’t real sure when in person events would begin again. So I launched TABB (Thursday Afternoon Business Beverage). It was a huge hit. This spring we merged TABB with a different networking event and created the Greeley Mob Mixer, a monthly open networking event who’s purpose is to “mob” a local business with 30-40 people and give the business some much needed revenue. It’s also a time to connect or reconnect with business associates and make some new connections. June’s event was at the Greeley Hatchet House. We had a good turnout considering we were competing with the Stampede. July will be at Gourmet Grub!
Nothing
Make sure you click on the picture to read the caption. Pretty incredible stuff was happening on Lookout Mountain! Amazing the things to can find when you are looking.
Breck- Day 3 (HomewardBound)
Just a few more stops on the way back down the hill: playing in the park, a brewery in Dillion, silliness, and Buffalo Bill’s grave at Lookout Mountain.
Troll
I figured the Troll needed his own post, instead of being buried at the bottom of the previous post. He was pretty cool!
Breck- Day 3 (TROLL!)
After regrouping at the bottom of the ski area, we loaded everyone back up and traveled back across town to go on a hike to find the troll! It was a pretty easy 1/4 mile hike. Trail was packed of course and we had to wait in line to get our picture taken. But there was a stream to play in on the return trip and a little park that the kids could enjoy.
Breck- Day 3
No rest for the weary when there is fun to be had on vacation! After cleaning up and checking out, it was time for Jen’s favorite part: breakfast out! We found the free gondola ride to the top of the mountain. Sadly, at the top, it was packed with people (what COVID???). Also the line to buy a ticket for $30 mini golf or a ride on the alpine slide ($45) was 30-40 minutes. So we snapped a few pictures and rode back down.
