Abandon

I love this picture of Sarabeth from last week at the Sturgis pool.
She decided it was time to start jumping off the diving board so she
didn't get left behind by her brothers. She is such a strong and brave
little girl.

Limit!

As you can see, it was a very successful trip to the pond. Who knew
Nathanael had such amazing fishing skills? He caught his limit of 6
fish today. Grandma cleaned them, and they will be eating three of
them for dinner. Them he wants to catch three more tomorrow and bring
them home so we can all have fish for dinner on Monday night!

Squared!

Meanwhile, 303 miles northeast, Wes, Noah, and Andrew were enjoying
the kick-off concert for Hills Alive. Todd Agnew played the Hills
Alive Squared main stage. It appears Little D is enjoying the show and
hasn't lost his new glasses yet. Sarabeth, Kaleb and Kim stayed in
Sturgis to prepare for the baby shower at church on Sunday. And enjoy
the air conditioning since in the high in Rapid was 106.

Fish!

After the stage, the threesome made their way down Corthell Road to
Huck Finn Pond for some afternoon fishing. Even with fresh bait and a
new rod and reel, the fish weren't biting.

Bikes!

Here are the riders from stage two of the 2012 Tour de Laramie. It was
a tough stage, the temps approaching 86 on the Greenbelt.

Food

What better way to cap off a fun morning in the badlands then a trip
to the one and only Wall Drug??? If there is one thing these kids love
more then climbing and water, it's food, preferably a big hamburger.
Beef, it's whats for lunch.

Pondering

"Well, my cousins are all up there. But it seems to be really far
away. But I'd really like to make it up there. And why do my big
cousins keep putting their arms up like that??"

Talking

Sarabeth and Kaleb discussing all sorts of plans and secrets that only
cousins can do. I wonder if they included things like "Where in the
world are we?" and "What happened to all the water??"

Badlands

Kim has been doing an amazing job this week keeping the kids busy,
tired, and full. Here they are wondering off into the Badlands of
South Dakota. I'm starting to get kind of jealous of all the fun they
are having. Next thing you know they probably got to visit Wall
Drug...

Water

Staying cool on a hot day in Rapid City, the kids enjoy the water
fountains in Main Street Square. Rumor has it that more water fun in
on the docket for today! Thanks for the great pictures Aunt Kim!

Pool

Kids are still having a great time in the beautiful state of South
Dakota! Yesterday's adventures included an afternoon at the Sturgis
water park. What a blessing it has been for the kids to spend this
time with their aunt, uncle and cousin!

Xeloda!

Look at this neat care package that arrived in the mail today from the
makers of Xeloda. No wonder cancer drugs are so expensive, if every
patient gets a welcome gift like this. Finished my tenth day of
treatment today. Eighteen more to go. Continued thanks to everyone for
your thoughts, prayers and messages of encouragement.

Bomb!

Yep, sister is pretty much da bomb!! Kids spent a really fun day in
Rapid at the Air and Space museum and on campus at the School of
Mines. Thanks again Wes and Kim!!
