Pitching Change

Rally? Bottom of the 6th and Rockies might have something going. This is the same rowdy group from the car in an earlier post. Aren't they cute?

Dippin Dots

Rockies are down 8-2 in the top of the sixth. Sure are cute kids with their Dippin Dots and the Denver skyline. Everyone still having fun and dad is enjoying the first day of his vacation.

Us!

Ubaldo doesn't look good so far. Rockies losing 4-0 in the top of the third. It is District 6 day at the game today. There are several frontier families in our section. Let's go Rockies!

Made It!

We are a bit early for the 1:05 first pitch, but that gives us time to find our seats, get some grub, souvenirs, and use the potty. It's cloud with a slight breeze, but no snow. Yet. Haha.

Road Trip!!

Here is the gang that will be sitting in Section U238 for todays Rockies game. Looks rowdy, doesn't it??

After Hours

This is fun! Great music tonight, a good friend to share the evening with, cold beer, no work tomorrow, and Jeff Coffin is performing next!

Vacation-Hour 1

So the vacation has started off with a bang! This afternoon was the elementary school gallery hop and guess who showed up? Grandma and grandpa Roth!! They made it in time to see Noah's artwork at the middle school, have lunch with everyone, then see the littles art and bookfair.  Here is Nathanael showing one of his pieces, while a bunch of bodyless heads look on.  Once again, we are so lucky and blessed to have the art department that we do at Frontier.

What We Saw

It was a great ride this afternoon in Greeley. Sarabeth pushed her dad 12 miles in a little over on hour. We saw lots of neat things on the trail today including:

Several dogs
Cows
A hawk
Lots and lots of bugs
Walkers
Rollerbladers
And....
A 4 FOOT SNAKE DAD ALMOST RAN OVER!!!

Ride!

20 minutes in and 4 miles down! A beautiful day on the Poudre!

Happy Easter!

Look what the Easter Bunny left in the backyard for the kids! It must have been one heck of a large egg to hide a 15 foot trampoline in. Now the discussion is whether or not to put the safety enclosure around it. Kids have been jumping for 15 minutes and there have been no tears, blood or broken bones. Yet.....

Concert

Very few schools in this country would open their 4th and 5th grade spring concert singing "Ave Regina ClaeorĂşm", a song totally sang in Latin. We are so lucky to have such an amazing music teacher in Mr. Long.  Here is Little D getting ready to make some sweet music on the xylophone.

BOTB 2011

It was Battle of the Books 2011 at Frontier today for our favorite 4th grader. Andrew and his team have been working so hard this year, reading the required 12 books, practicing on weekends, and attempting to "repeat the feat" of winning the championship last year. Sadly isn't wasn't ment to be. The team finished third, and only the top two advance. It just goes to show how difficult it truly is to repeat as champions.

100

That is how many of her world famous breakfast burritos Jen is making tonight.  No, not for breakfast for our family in the morning. She is selling them tomorrow at Frontier as a fund raiser for the state champion academic decathalon team. They are raising money to afford the trip to nationals. Amazing effort Jen! Make sure you stop by the school early before they are all gone!!
