August’s End

A catch-up and catch-all post as the eighth month of 2025 comes to a close. Fantasy Football season has started, with the first draft in the Cook’s league. Watching the Huskers with the crew (GBR?). Cigar night with the men on a beautiful evening in Monte’s backyard. Still walking Bella everyday and collecting awards from Apple. A few podcast guests, including Brady Hull of the Hull Show and men’s basketball coach Steve Smiley. A ribbon cutting for my friend and GMM founder Katie Gale. Watching over 8000 people walk by our booth at the annual Monster Days in downtown Greeley. Writing cards to dementia patients at Rotary. The front page of the United Way of Weld County website. Evans Chamber business after hours. Our Rotary Club had one of our most successful highway clean-ups to date. Bring on September!

Ag Tour

I was able to spend last Friday on the Ag Tour, an annual event sponsored by the Greeley Chamber. A bus-full of attendees loaded up and made stops throughout Weld County, learning about the importance of agriculture and its impact on the community. I was joined by our newest business sales rep. We visited a nursery in Brighton, stopped at Big Foot Turf Farms to literally watch the grass grow and be cut, and closed the day at A1 Organics in Eaton. And what Chamber event would be complete without a happy hour to close the day?

GMM- Crabtree Edition

It was already time to Mob again, and we returned to Crabtree Brewing for the August edition. I know I say this every month, but the turnout was spectacular! Visited with some friends about the election and the state of my campaign. Introduced a new person into the leadership role at the GMM. Made some new friends. Checked out a bit early to head to cigar night. Thanks for the great pictures, Amber.

Friends & Family

Here’s a smorgasbord of pictures from the last few weeks of all the good things going on in our world. The kids made it to Coors Field to see some crazy Bananaball action. Little D started his second year at Valley. Ben and I visited Broncos training camp and found time to enjoy a cigar and discuss our big plans. Bumped into Jazzy Jazz at training camp, which was a great surprise! Mr. Stilie stopped by for dinner and some laughs while he was in town from Pennsylvania. Maria and I had our goodbye lunch for Daniela who has been a remarkable intern. We also attended our last event together in Brighton (and picked up an endorsement and a contribution from the mayor). Made it to a ribbon cutting for my treasurer, Sam, and West Ridge Accounting. Two quick pictures from the Mob Mixer (hopefully more to come from Amber). Celebrating Copper’s 10th birthday at Top Golf with the crew. And I’m tired of driving.
