Time to use the last Christmas present! Thanks Scott for a ticket for the “Hogfest: Bacon and Bourbon.” We loaded the crew up and headed to the mountains for a little Labor Day getaway. Bella even got to take the trip! Lunch and pregamed in Silverton. The Scott, Sean and I headed to the festival while the ladies, kids and dog checked in to the VRBO. It was a cool event lasting almost 4 hours. We made some new friends, Sean was the hero for his OAR shirt and posed for some pictures, and we of course had a great time sampling various rare bourbons and chasing it with bacon!
